Transition to senior football day for nominated Under 13s
THE QRL South East Division has organised a “transition to senior football” day to help players develop their skills.
The day is for players involved in the transition from modified to international football.
The Division has approved funding for the Education and Development officers to conduct the day alongside members of the Brisbane Broncos development staff.
The day will run from 9am to noon with a sausage sizzle and drink to be provided to all participants at the conclusion of the session.
Greater Brisbane Junior Rugby League clubs are being asked to nominate two players from each of their under 13 teams to take part in this day.
The set up for the day will be a variety of stations where players rotate into each station and be involved in each activity.
Please note that a full range of positions will need to be nominated (ie please do not nominate players who all play in the same position) to ensure a balance in station activities.
Clubs can submit their list of players they wish to nominate to take part in the day by emailing southeastqld@qrl.com.au by 9am on MONDAY, MARCH 15, with the players’ preferred playing position included.
Any adjustments to the list of nominees will be advised.
For more information about the day – or the nomination process – email southeastqld@qrl.com.au.
