Former GBJRL players selected in Maroons line-up

INJURY and suspension have forced Queensland selectors to announce a changed line-up for next week’s State of Origin Game III.

Former Brothers junior and current Canberra Raider David Shillington is set to make his State of Origin debut for Queensland as they attempt to make it a clean sweep against NSW this series.

Cooper Cronk, a former Souths player and current Melbourne Storm halfback, has been named as 18th man.

The game will be played at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday, July 15 in front of a packed crowd.
