BECOME A VOLUNTEER

WITH player numbers on the rise in what is already the world’s largest rugby league organisation, volunteers are becoming even more essential to sustaining the Greater Brisbane Junior Rugby League.

By becoming a volunteer, you can help ensure the GBJRL provides local children with the best opportunity to learn about teamwork and develop their skills.

As Queensland’s most popular winter sport, volunteering with rugby league also provides a fantastic environment for meeting friends and becoming involved in a passionate community founded on family values.

In 2008, Jan Boys was presented with the Toyota National Volunteer Award at the second annual One Community Awards in Sydney.

You can join Jan as one of the many volunteers who give their time to providing the support for not only the future development of the sport, but the development of our children’s future.

Whether you can volunteer regularly or only help out every once in a while your assistance will be greatly appreciated in our community’s favourite outdoor activity.

Everyone has a skill which could be useful to their local junior league club, whether it be in the fields of labouring, finance, public relations, bar-keeping, cooking or an array of other abilities.

Something as simple as helping keep score or stocking the fridges can make a big difference on match day. To find out the details of a club in your area, simply CLICK HERE.
